I am an experienced integrative therapist which means that I am trained in a variety of approaches to counselling. The biggest benefit to this is that I'm able to work with each client in a bespoke way, depending on what is best for them.
I have worked with clients from a diverse variety of backgrounds with issues such as low self-esteem, depression, lack of direction, anxiety, stress, anger, bereavement, identity and relationship issues. I have special interest in low self-esteem and also have experience in working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have experience of working with compulsive hoarding also.
My qualifications include a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and an M.Sc and B.Sc in psychology and sociology. I have also attended short courses on; gestalt therapy compassion focused therapy, Austism Spectrum Disorder, cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), managing suicidal feelings, self harm and anger management.
I am accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means that I have undergone further training and assessment to demonstrate that I am an experienced counsellor. I abide by the BACP ethical framework. More information can be found here
